The meeting also further updated Recommendation on characteristics of television outside broadcasting, electronic news gathering and electronic field production in the mobile services for use in sharing studies and these systems operate, inter alia, in the frequency range 6425-7250 MHz range. Working Party 5A also continued developing Report on Utility Communication Systems to support communication needs of entities that provide electric, gas and water utilities. The meeting also considered issues relating to allocation of mid band spectrum in 3.4-3.8 GHz for 4G/5G under ITU World radio conference to be held in UAE in 2023. IAFI submitted four contributions to the meeting which were well received and included in the studies. 5 delegates from IAFI attended this meeting and presented four contributions. The meetings was attended by 350 delegates from various administrations and industries. The meeting also deliberated on fixed broadband wireless services and THz technologies which will form the basis for future 6G technologies. The meeting focused on the various wireless technologies including WI-FI in 6GHz, Connected Automated Vehicles, Intelligent Transportation, new spectrum for utilities such as electricity, water and gas. The ITU-APT Foundation of India (IAFI) participated in the 26th ITU Study group 5A meeting on Land mobile services which concluded earlier this week.
